Set only 500 feet away, Havnekontoret is a wonderful place to eat nearby. All in all, good value.

This hotel offers great value for money in a superb location. Situated in the center of Kristiansund, it is very close to downtown and the harbor, making it easy to explore the beautiful Norwegian coastal town on foot. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean, with some even offering a balcony with a view to traffic. I was impressed with the attention to detail and the basic amenities provided, such as the free wifi and the buffet breakfast which had a variety of warm and cold dishes.
No major issues, everything was alright.

The Christmas lights in the lobby were pretty and added to the holiday spirit. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the view from the window, which offered a nice glimpse of the city. The breakfast was decent, although there could have been more variety. The location was very convenient, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. One thing we really appreciated was the free shuttle to and from the airport.
Our stay was marred by a couple of negatives. The first thing we noticed was the noise level.

The hotel’s location is very convenient, just a stone's throw away from local pubs and a short walk to all the areas of interest, including shops. The room and bathroom were clean and well equipped. Staff was helpful and kind. Breakfast was okay, with a decent selection of food to choose from.
The elevator was a bit slow, but it worked well and was newly installed.

The breakfast was decent, and the bed was cozy, making our romantic escape enjoyable. Additionally, the location was excellent, with a great selection of nearby restaurants and bars, as well as easy access to popular tourist attractions. We also appreciated the adorable outdoor area, which provided a perfect place to relax.
The room was quite small, making it difficult to move around comfortably, especially with our luggage. Furthermore, the decor was outdated and felt uninviting, and the Wi-Fi signal was weak and patchy, interrupting our ability to connect and share our photos of the trip with friends and family. although we had a good stay, we wouldn't recommend this hotel for an extended stay.
